Q: Are swollen kidneys serious?

Im 25 weeks pregnant. Doctors informed me that both the babys kidneys are swollen and want to do a level 2 ultrasound. They also told me they were not to concerned. But isnt this a big deal. I mean if something is not normal they should be concerned. Please help.

After the doctors perform some more ultrasound scans and they can tell you if your unborn baby’s kidneys are normal, or not. Try to think positively, because your worry will definitely not help your baby.
