"pregnant!" as clear as can be.
So, it's a definite positive. Day two of
the missed period. I'm just wondering
what all this cramping is about. I'm
having some terrible cramps. Could it be
from gas? They come & go.
I told my two best friends last night
& they're excited. I just have to
figure out how to tell my family, esp. My
mother & grandmother. Dad's not a
problem since there's no relationship
between us.
Hm. How did your family take the news?
How do I tell my mom, again? She was so
disappointed the first time around. I
mean, it's not like i'm 18 anymore. And
i'm not with a guy who's heading nowhere.
Brandon graduates from college in may with
two degrees. Ugh! I have no idea how to
break this to those closest to me. My
sister was highly disappointed the first
time, but she's grown. She's 19 now &
i'm sure she'll be more understanding.
We're going to wait it out a bit. Go to a
doctor first & whatnot.

Congrats!!! Just tell them. A lot of
people like to wait until their risks are
much lower (13+ weeks), then you're not
telling people and then something terrible
happens. That is your choice.
It's your life and you sound like your
happy, so good for you!!! Enjoy.
Cramping is normal. As long as their is
no blood or severe pain you should be all
set. You will endure all kinds of
cramps, gas, etc before the end, trust me.
Take prenatals and do what you need to do
to get in to see an ob :d

Congrats!!
I told everyone when I first found out I
was pregnant, luckily I didn't jinx
myself!
But I agree with .Mommy35.. Waiting would
probably be better because of all the
risks.

thanks!! to the both of you. bran & i
are going to wait it out a bit until we've
been to a doctor. he's taking me to
planned parenthood during the week b/c i
have no idea what's going on with my
health insurance. if i'm not covered
anymore, planned parenthood should help me
out. right?
also, can't i get some sort of coverage
through him? he's on his parents still,
but they've got really good insurance. i
doubt his parents are going to be
supportive - at first - but hopefully
they'll come around.
i'm going to be so paranoid these next
couple of weeks. i'm hopeful though! and
excited. can't wait to go to the doctor's.

i've never been to planned parenthood but
i'm pretty sure they can't do much for you
other than confirm your pregnancy and
maybe refer you to a doctor.
most likely you won't be able to get on
his insurance, especially since he's on
his parents. if you don't have any you can
apply for medicaid and they'll pay for
everything.
most doctors won't see you until you're
8-10 weeks so make an appointment soon and
in the meantime take prenatal vitamins.
