I just found out i'm pregnant. I got the
first positive test result yesterday,
02/18.
The last time I used my acne med's was
sometime around 01/19 to 01/25. The two
med's I used are facial creams. One is
differin gel & the other is bencalin
gel. I am also on an oral med call adoxa.
I can't remember the last time I took one
of my adoxa pills though. They made me
sick, so I quickly stopped them. If
anything, the last time I took one was in
the month of november.
I'm just wondering if I should be worried
about anything harmful happening to the
developing fetus. Acne med's are
extremely dangerous. With almost a
month's time frame of being clean of all 3
med's, my child should be out of harm's
way, right?

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I don't
think the meds have harmed your baby but I
wouldn't continue to use them during the
pregnancy. I used naturally derived
products which I also market to get rid of
my acne as I don't like medications and
their side effects.
