Yeah i tried that but she just gets back on her belly and she will stretch a mile to get it. lol

I have already baby proofed...(sp) And i am ready.....people say that when your baby starts crawling that the 'baby weight' will just fall off. hopefully.

laura, she is sitting up for a few seconds....and then she topples over. its really cute because her face is like Shocked mamma hurry catch me.....mamma help me. lol it's too funny. so i think that she will be crawling a lot faster than sitting up. lol

i love her sooooo much....this makes it worth it. Watching her grow makes it all worth it.

phew! i thought you meant hers too and i was like "why would she want her baby to lose weight?"

i don't think this is true though. i mean, you're not going to be *running* after her, they can't crawl that fast! maybe when they start walking and running i'd believe it.

YUpp, they can have a fever of 102 or above rectally.

B, lol, they can def crawl *that* fast!!!! It's amazing!!! I tell her "just get up and run!!!"

I'm very lax with .oni's boundaries in the house. SHe's allowed everywhere. There's nothing that's off limits. I've read that a baby needs 10 silent minutes per day to concentrate on something or to voyage off on their own (you watch, just don't interact. Or stare.). It builds confidence.

I put .oni in her play yard for about a month to get her used to sitting up before i put her on the floor. SHe was about 5/6 months when I put her, without support, on the floor.

Oh! Laura & .gen, when you're playin with her on the floor, hold her legs down bu her knees. SHe'll rise like a vampire!! I swear to .god! Oni did that before she sat propped up on her own!!!

No I have tile. Well it's the fake tile. It's basically a cement slab underneath.

Baron was the one who enforced the play pen so she could practice. The 1st time she fell back and hit her head, he freaked!!!

She stopped falling back about a month month&a half ago!!

I'm really not rushing her to walk. It's insane how quickly they grow. ANd how fast the time flies! GOt I wish I had a slow-mo button!

Oni's got steel abs!!!
