Back to Work.

Well, I just talked with my boss from my job I had while I was pregnant with .Kaylee & I can go back to work without doing orientation all over again. Sooo I start Saturday Confused 7:30am-1:30pm.. I'm dreading it but it's not going to be all that bad. I work for a contractor inside of P&G (they make diapers, wipes, blah blah blah) & I get to pick what hours I want (in 6 hour blocks) & what days I want so it will work out nicely. My mom is babysitting. && I get almost 9 bucks an hour for standing next to a line watching diapers go by lol...

I just hate leaving my baby Crying
or Very sad

Whoa, that sounds like a good job. Do you get a discount? that's the ideal job for a new mommy! I'm jealous! It's great your mom gets to watch .kaylee for you. My parents watch .adriana and they love it!

already back to work?? Shocked

It's great that you get to choose your hours and your mom's gonna help out.

How does it work in the states?? Do you guys get taxed on the $ you make?

Here in Quebec we have 2 taxes. the federal one and the provincial one so I get like 15% of my salary taken off in taxes. Sucks. Almost 600$ every 2 weeks they take off!!!

Yeah, it's not a bad job at all & works perfectly with having a baby. They also have 12 hours shifts & you can get on a "team" & do 12 hour swing shift which is 2 days on days, 2 days off, 3 days on nights, 3 days off... Something like that, I did that the last time I worked there but I'm not doing it this time because I feel I'll be missing too much of Kaylee...

Yep, back to work already... I mean I could have gone back like 2 months ago but I've been really holding off.. I don't .H.A.V.E to go back but I want too just so I can gain some of my independence back, ya know? lol & no I don't get a discount.. They make .Pampers & I hate that brand anyway so it wouldn't help me too much anyway if we did!

As for the taxes... They take federal, state, local, medical, social security.. So I'm thinking it's about 15% they take out of me too.

unless you live in nh (and maybe certain other states), we don't have state taxes taken.

i'm sure you'll miss kaylee, but won't it be nice to have some "adult" time? i miss adult interaction...

I have to say. I love coming to work. I miss trey but I love being around smart people who can have intelligent conversations. It was really hard after a yr off to get back into adult mode and not want to fix people's hair and wipe stuff off their faces. lmao

Yeah it will definately be nice to have some time to myself again. That few extra bucks in my pocket that I don't have to ask .Shane for will be nice too Laughing
