hi. I just read another topic that spoke
of colon cleansing.
My grandma is insisting that I try
OxyPowder Colon Cleanser. Has anyone ever
heard of it? If so, can you give me some
advice about it, because I'm kinda nervous
about colon cleansing.
Any advice would be appreciated. She's
coming down this weekend, and I know she's
gonna force me to try it. I either need a
good reason too or a great excuse
to avoid it. Please help!

I have been using Oxypowder for quite a
while, and I must say it is a fantastic
product, a friend of mine recommended it
to me. I suffered from constipation and
have tried many different products but
oxypowder is by far the best. I
continually take the oxypowder has part of
a maintenance program after I did the
initial cleanse, they keep my colon
cleansed and healthy.
I usually purchase mine from Ebay from a
company called Oxyhealth, they do next day
delievry as well which is great if you
forget to order and are running short.

Two thumbs up for
oxypowder................I know, sounds
like a very commerical type
name.............but believe me I tried
all the usual stuff not to mention some
unusual things(in the name of desperation)
to get my little boy
regular.................oxypowder worked
and to keep the price
down................after following the
initial cleanse, ie maintenance
dose..............I give him 1 oxypowder
per night along with 2 senna(herb capsules
found easily in most health food
stores).........the oxy runs approximately
42/bottle CAN. and the senna is only about
12/bottle
...............what I like about it the
most is unlike somethings that seem to
work and then after a bit they stop
working........even after a higher
dosage......................the oxy keeps
working.............it's definitely in my
top 10

Really? You guys are that fond of it?
Is it really that good??? Cuz, I've done
alot of research on it, and it seems "too
good to be true."
I mean, your reply's sound just like my
grandma, whenever she's talking about it.
That's three people that have all had
successful results.
Well, she's coming down in two days... so
I guess I'll be trying it in two days.
I'll let you know what I think...

I'll write the directions from the back of
the bottle:
Cleansing:Start by taking 4 capsules in
the evening on an empty stomach with a
full 8 oz glass of water. If you do not
achieve3-5 bowel movements the following
day, you will then increase the dosage by
adding two more capsules every night until
you achieve 3-5 bowel movements the
following day. Once you find your dosage
this is day one of the seven day cleanse.
You will stay on this dose for seven
consecutive days. After the seven days
take the maintenance
dose.....................
...............it took 8 pills to get my
boy going................but now he's
maintained on 1 oxypowder and 2 senna per
night..............................oh yea,
if your gonna do it....................the
weekend is a good time................and
make sure your close to a
toilet.............
............couldn't hurt to
try...............and yeah, the website
looks too good to believe..............I
think this product will probably make it's
mark more through the word of mouth than
anything................................pa
rdon the pun................but, it's good
sh*t

only thing is...senna is a stimulant
laxative and NOT suitable for long-term
use. You should be careful with your son.
please read about senna.
for bulk, instead of psyllium which seems
to clog a lot of people, buy some flax
seed and a coffee grinder, and eat/drink a
teaspoon a day. It tastes nutty in water,
and almost tasteless on food.

Agreed!.................herbs should be
closely monitored and given the
opportunity their use should be
reduced......................however if
after many many differents methods used
and nothing else worked(it is Very
Individual)....................and the
dangers of being long term constipated or
long term diaherra.................I have
weighed the risks, and believe they are
minimal......................keeping in
mind, he is my boy............but the size
of a full grown
adult................bigger than me in
fact.................also I intent to keep
an open mind and give thought to other
ideas........................the psyllium
and flaxseed has been tried and failed
miserably here, but doesn't mean it won't
work for
others........................Thanks for
your concern

Oxypowder Is the Best Colon Cleanser Posted: 04-17-07 13:02pm
I've suffered from chronic constipation
since I was 17. I've gone through every
kind of laxatives & stool softeners,
from prescription grade to over the
counter. Those are no good. I've also
tried two kinds of colon cleansers. THe
first one was Colonix, and it made me
really really constipated. I felt ill the
whole time I was using Colonix. On my
doctors orders, I stopped taking it in my
third week.
In search of an alternative I found this
website with lots and lots of information
about constipation. Thru
this website, I discovered Oxypowder. I
never heard of it before then, and I did
alot of research about it. I then asked my
doctor, who is very very familiar with my
constipation issues. He told me he would
look into it the ingredients and let me
know what his thoughts were. He later told
me to give it a try, but he expressed his
doubt.
After just two weeks on oxypowder, I
called him and told him how great I was
feeling. I told him I was having at least
2-3 bowel movements a day. No cramps or
bloating. It's been a year now, and I have
been using oxypowder every other day
since. I'm really glad I found it.
It sounds cheesy, but it really did give
me a new freedom in my life.

Constipation Free Posted: 04-18-07 15:20pm
I used to suffer from occasional
constipaiton. I tried a colon cleanser
called Dual Action Cleanse and it was a
HUGE ripoff! I ended up losing more money
then I intially paid upfront. Long Story.
Anyways, I ended up trying Blessed Herbs a
few months later, but I couldn't handle
fasting like it requires you to do in the
beginning.
So, the next one I tried was oxypowder. I
was surprisingly impressed with the
results I got from it. I no longer suffer
from constipation, and I feel great. I've
gone on and told a few college buddies
about it and they have all used it as
well.
It's been almost a year now, and I've used
oxypowder ever since. They recommend that
you take a 'maintenance dose' every other
day. But I have a different plan. I only
do the maintenance dose once a week and
eat a bunch of fruits & veggies. It
works just the same and saves me money in
the long run.

Isn't oxypowder the stuff you clean your
carpet with?
Why are you guys eating this stuff?

No, silly. You're thinking of OxiClean,
which is the infomercial guy who purposly
spills stuff to clean it up. Oxypowder is
a colon cleanser. My son uses it and he's
gotten me to try it. I've suffered from
Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and its the one
thing I've found that actually helps me,
and is reasonably priced. He was
interested in colon cleansing
and found oxypowder through this website.
God bless you.

Colon Cleansing Posted: 08-13-07 19:54pm
I can only say what is working for me and
that is colonix by drnatura. I have been
using colonix for 8 years now and have
incorporated it each year thereafter.
It is a gentle herbal cleanse that is easy
to incorporate into my daily routine. I
have had great success with colonix and I
have my family and friends who are using
colonix with awesome results.
This is a product that I would recommend
to anyone.

Would oxypowder cause dirrea effect? Coz I
need to work from like 9 to 6 daily, would
it cause gas and liquidy stools?
Also, would oxypowder dissolve and wash
away the sodium chloride(enemas) which
I've been using?

I know someone who did take oxypowder and
had a serious diahorrea problem. I can't
speak for myself as I've never used it.
This is just what a close friend said
happened to her. I would be very careful
using it. Let us know how it worked for
you should you try it.

I heard that colon cleansing can prevent
bloating and had ordered 1 bottle of
OxyPowder.
Does anyone know you have to continually
use this product after the initial
cleansing in order to prevent the
bloatiness to re-occur or will the
bloatiness disappear once your colon is
completely clean. I am worried that I will
need to continually use this product every
other day just to prevent the bloating to
re-occur.
