okay its been 2 weeks and 2 days after I
gave birth.
1.) My bleeding has completly stopped but
they said I would bleed from red to white.
I havent had any white?? Should I be
concerned? Because thats suppose to be the
plasma right?
2.) I still have my stictches. When are
they suppose to dissolve?? Sometimes when
i sit down or stand up they pull and it
hurts. It gets aggravating!!
3.) When I was in the hospital, I had a
huge clot. The size of a softball!!! I
told the nurses and she just said let me
know if it happens again. Ever since then I
have had tons of clots, which I know is
perfectly normal, but some are the size of
tennis balls. My paper said if any is
bigger than that size to call and
especially if you have a headache that
seems to stay.
I guess my question is I have had a
headache that wont go away. I have had it
for 4 days now. My bleeding has stopped.
Could that be a blot clot doing that?
Should I be worrried and go ahead and
phone my gyno?

I bled for 3 weeks.. and passed some
relativly huge clots by times. as far as
the stitiches go, i can't remember how
long it took, for them to dissolve. I do
remember pieces of them. It was almost
like they turned soft, and fell apart. I
would get little soft pieces when a wiped
or washed. Everyone is different though.

Well I will have to call my doctor
tomorrow. They are done gone today. Since
I dont have bad bleeding, they will
probably say everything is fine. But I
rather be safe than sorry. Thanks for the
replys. I will defintly cal tomorrow.
I looked at the site. I havent been
bleeding anymore so I dont think Im in
their situation. But thank you!

hm... when i went for my 1 month cheakup
(to get a pap to see how everything was
doin up there) i still had my stiches in.
(oww did that ever hurt) so yeah they last
quite awhile.. so dont be shocked.. but if
you feel down there you should notice them
getting softer all the time. I had a 2nd
degree tear, i dont know what you had, so
that could be why i had my stiches for so
long. Try taking alot of baths with
picking salt in it, thats what i was told
to do.
if you are having clots the size of tennis
and soft balls i would be freaking out....

I was told if I had clots bigger than a
quarter then I should get checked out. I
couldn't imagine a tennis ball sized clot!
*edited to add.....
I had a c-section tho, so maybe it's
different for patients that gave vaginal
birth.

clots but i would've been freaking out at
anything larger than a golf ball.
