Yesterday we went visit a friend and she
was feeding Ava a bottle. She took the
bottle out of her mouth for a second to do
something, but she was still holding it in
the palm of her hand in front of Ava. Ava
was staring at it so I watched to see what
she would do. She was concentrating so
hard, it was precious. She grabbed the
bottle with both hands and brought it up
to her mouth and was able to suck 3 times
then if fell to her cheek. I couldn't
believe she did that! It was like
watching her take her first steps. The
bottle was long, so it was hard for her to
hold, but if it would have been the little
one, she would have been able to keep it
there. I couldn't believe what I was
watching. Of course when I got the camera
out, she didn't do it again.

go ava! figures she'd stop once the camera
came out. little stinker!
finn would hold his own bottle all the
time if i let him, but i don't. i feel
like he's growing up way too fast and i
need to hang on to some of these baby
things, like feeding him. i'm proud of
every new thing he learns but it also
makes me sad.

She tries to hold it alot when we're
feeing her, but I don't trust her. I know
it wouldn't stay in her mouth for very
long.
She's been giving us some problems for
about 3 weeks now to feed her. Any little
sound or new person that goes by, she
stops sucking and moves her head away,
looks at what she wants to look at, then
cries that the bottles gone. It's so
aggravating. Sometimes I have to go in
our bedroom with the lights dimmed and the
noise machine on for her to relax and eat.
I read up on it and there's just some
babies that are more easily distracted
than others.
She's been very sensitive and alert since
day 1. Now she easily distracted, she
fights her sleep. She's been active since
I was pregnant. I felt her kick at 14
weeks. My goodness, I'll have a little
monster on my hands. She's be an
interesting little toddler. We think
she'll be like my husband. He's very
active, outgoing, and a little add.
