hello! i want one! but dh keeps saying it is a waste of money and it isn't going ot help the "real" problem. which he says is me getting over my fears of bad things happening... but i feel like if i get one then i can hear the heartbeat whenever i feel worried and feel better. i will be 10 weeks next week so by the time the machine comes i should be able to use it. so i was just wondering if anyone got one and liked it???

I never got one, but I would have wanted to. It'll help calm your worries. If you can afford it and it works, I'd get it.

I bought the .Bebe.Sounds heartbeat thing when I was pregnant & it was a complete waste of money, not sure if that's the kind you're talking about though...

I looked into the bebe sounds, not a good idea , people mostly say all they hear is traffic and such but you can rent an actual doppler!

check this site out. it's an idea:

I feel so bad because 3 people have bought bebe first sounds at my work in the past 2 days and I wanna tell them what I've read but there is always a manager there. I feel so dishonest

I had considered it, but then I thought about it. If I tried to hear the baby's heartbeat and for some reason the thing didn't work, or if I couldn't hear it, I would be a mess with worry.

i know what you mean about what if i couldn't find it! i was talking about one of those $145 ones. or maybe renting one... maybe i will just try and get into the Dr next week for another u/s... i have no reason to go though! i am so nervous because i have m/c before and i have no pregnancy symptoms! so i have nothing to go by! the only thing that makes me feel better short term is seeing/hearing the HB. well, at least i know that those kind suck and if i were going to get one i should at least rent one of those really good ones. any ideas on how i could get into the Dr without making something up?? i am a little superstitious and think if i lie it will actually happen!

i ordered one offline for $130, it worked good starting aroudn 15 wks and later, it has a screen too that tells u the heartbeat as well. the day before i had my daughter my son threw it on the ground and broke it though, but the more expensive onces do work really good, just a matter if u wanna spend the money on it ,

i don't know.. i want one but i am afraid of spending the money and it not working well. i would want it to work as early as 10 weeks! so i guess my only option would be to rent one if i was going to. thanks!

this one said from 12 weeks on that i had, but i couldnt find the heartbeat till later on but it worked really well it even comes with the ultrasound gel stuff. It was nice to hear the heartbeat at home too . i dont think there is one u can buy that would work at 10 weeks unless uwanna spend LOTS of money.
