Hello, I've had this swollen lymph node
under my chin on the left side of my neck
for over a year now. I had a naet allergy
treatment for Tree MIX and 1 or 2 days
later it was swollen. ITs 1 inch long by
3/4" inch wide and has stayed the same
size. I'm not cleared from my allergys
yet and still am having problems with the
air.
What can I do to make the lymph node go
back to normal? I've been to my normal
doctor and he said just to watch it but
that was over a year ago also.
Thanks

There's really not much you can do to make
it go back to normal. Lymph nodes act as
filters, that collect and destroy
bacteria and viruses. When the body is
fighting an infection, lymphocytes
multiply rapidly and produce a
characteristic swelling of the lymph
nodes. They can calcify over and remain a
permanent lump. They can be removed in a
simple office procedure if it is
bothersome to you.

Do you think it will eventually go back to
normal after i stop reacting to the stuff
in the air? Because it was a allergic
reaction that made it swell up. And it
was never fighting anthing off or exposed
to something. The nAet treatments are a
stimulation to your body while holding the
allergen in your hand.
