I had a lot of fun chating with you girls
but I started bleeding yesterday afternoon
just barely but it's a little heaver this
morning and .I'm have pretty consistent
cramps. I think .I'm out, for good. This
was our 6th and last month of TTC. I guess
she (.A.F) hasen't officially started full
speed yet but yeah .I'm pretty sure she is
coming. Anyway I may check back every once
in a while to see you you girls are doing
but that all depends on my mood, you know
the drill. Thanks for all your support!

Why We Only Tried 6 Months.

Oh .Kia .I forgot .I had not told my whole
story on here. My husband has cancer and
we were really unsure if we should be
having a child or not. We wanted too, but
we weren't sure if it was smart to
intently put a child in that position (of
losing there father at such a young age)
so we decided to try for 6 months and if
it happened yippie if not we would take
that as a sign. I've thought multiple
times while we were TTC that if .I had a
baby "right now" there would be no way .I
could take care of both .Mark and the baby
so .I am sure its for the best. Anyway
thats my depressing story, you girls were
a lot of fun!

Right, I don't know your whole story so
I'm going out on a bit of a limb here and
I really hope I don't offend anyone.
I was just wondering, if you're worried
that you will lose your husband (God
forbid) and you want children but perhaps
now is not the right time, could you
arrange to have your hubby's sperm frozen
for future use? If your hubby saw a
solicitor to give legal consent for his
sperm to be used in the event of his
passing away then perhaps you could still
have his baby through ivf. There was a
famous case of that happening in this
country, I think the lady's name was
.Diane .Blood but I might have that
wrong.
Now I might totally have the wrong end of
the stick because I don't know your
hubby's prognosis but it's just an idea.
I wish you and your hubby all the best, I
hope you stick around here.
If this post offends then I will of course
delete it.

I think the reason they're hesitant is
because they don't want their child to be
(possibly) fatherless in a short time.

I think that's a really good idea.
and how I think of it as, if you have his
baby when he passes away you still have a
part of him with you. it's perfect. But
about the fatherless thing, it's not like
he'd leave your baby by choice or
anything. So for real girl, think about
it.

Purest Green~ We have though about that
and no your not out of your bounds its
always good to get others perspectives
thats why we are here right? Anyway Aya
was right about the whole fatherless
thing. We just can't get over the whole
"choosing" to bring a child in this world
when we know that Mark may not be around
very long. I know that single moms do
great!! I have quite a few friends that
are but most of the time they don't choose
that it's just what happens.
There is a small chance we will try again,
there is a trial at Duke univeristy that
is currently closed if it opens again Mark
is going to try it and if it works then we
will try again. Who knows????
~Amber
Thanks for the support~
