clar0; The only thing that I can suggest
is to try and talk to people who actually
own this type of mattress. Don't listen
the what the company claims. The thing
that I like about it is that it forms to
your spine and spreads the weight of your
body over the entire area. Not just a few
boney ones like the shoulders and hips. I
have a memory foam overlay on my bed that
I got at Costco. I love it and it has
helped my low back pain. The mattress was
about 150$. This might be something that
you can try before spending thousands on a
full foam mattress. Just remember that it
took about a week before I got used to the
mattress and noticed a difference. Hope
this helps

I Have changed matresses 5 times because
of desperation, and have not gotten any
releif. I just bought an 1100$ Memory
foam mattress to no avail but my situation
is probably different as I have severe
muscle spasms.-PaulPain

Dear Everybody,
I had tolerated my muscle pain for
too many years - without sleep- and
finally was about to beg my Back Pain
specialist for some Celestone/ Moricaine
(spelling?) injections when he agreed to
do it. By God it works. I actually slept
last night for the first night in over a
month. Lets prey it works. Now I think I
am going to ask him to inject the lower
part of my back. It is my miracle.-Paul

I HAVE A BAD BACK. IF YOU GET A FOAM EGG
CRATE PADDING FOR THE BED IT DOES HELP. I
ALSO HAVE A FOAM PILLOW THAT HELPS. YOU
CAN GET IT AT BED BATH AND BEYOND.

I bought the 4" memory foam one from
Costco. Both me and my boyfriend love it.
We have been using it for two years. It is
the most comfortable mattress ever. It
really helps.
I talked to someone else that owned the 4"
foam mattress and they had similar
results. They also said they bought the
full foam one and did not like that one
and went back to the 4" one. I think the
cheaper version in this case is the
better. The 4" inch one is just soft
enough and though enough with a regular
mattress.
The only bad think is that the mattress
tends to slide to one side for some
reason. I thought this was because my bf
was heavier than me, but when we got a new
bed frame and moved everything, the
mattress was now moving to my side. The
other person I know that has this mattress
said they have the same problem. No big
deal, you just slide it over every couple
of days.
Everyone that I know, that owns this
mattress, likes it. I do not however like
their pillows, too high. There is one
memory pillow this is feather on one side
that is not as high and works well for me,
but that one that is designed for necks,
don't buy that one. Maybe it is because I
am small, but that one kills my neck.

Has anyone tried a mattress from RestOnClouds?
I'm looking at their 10" memory foam
mattress, and the ThermoPlush Premium.
Any input would be appreciated.

We did research for quite a while to find
a mattress for my lower back pain. We
settled on the TempurPedic with the foam
pillows and I couldn't be happier with it.
It really does adjust to your body and
spreads your weight evenly.
The negative is the cost (about $3,000).
but you get what you pay for. I would
recommend it to anyone with back pain.
I've never used the 4" memory foam
covering you can get from retail stores,
but others seem to be satisfied with them
for much less money.

I forgot I had this account! I just got a
message asking if I bought a mattress from
rest on clouds. I did-the thermo
mattress. It's the model with the high
density memory foam. I tried out
TempurPedic as well, and ended up getting
one from online because they are so much
money. I'm glad I did. I think it's
nicer than any of the mattresses I tried
in the store. Hope that helps.

If you're looking for a good workout to
get in shape/loose weight, do POWER 90
from beachbody. It's great! Though I'd
throw that out there since this is a
health forum.

RE: Memory foam mattress - I wouldn't be
without mine. It takes a while to get used
to it because it feels so different than
any other mattresses. You may also find
that you don't need as many pillows, I
find that one buckwheat pillow is enough
for me now. It certainly works for me and
I'd definitely recommend it. My mattress
isn't a super expensive big name one -
it's literally memory foam laid over my
existing (and also good quality) mattress.
I'd recommend it to anyone. Hope that
helps!
