i just spoke to michieee..
now she wont be getting her staples
removed until next thursday. she said that
jersey is doing good and that she is in an
incubator and that she is being fed
formula through a feeding tube and she
has a canula in her nose that is helping
give her oxygen to breath. she lost 4oz so
she now weighs 7lbs 8oz.. she said that
everything is okay and fine at the moment.
but please pray for a rapid and speedy
recovery. she does not know at this point
when jersey will be able to come home. she
is on monitors and iv's and etc. for her
stats.. her oxygen level is at 27% now
which is good. they are trying to bring
her down little by little until she is
breathing 100% on her own.. that is all i
know for right now. she is going to call
me later and i will update you then

I wish them both the best.
I do hope her doctor changes his/her mind
about the staples though.
there is no evidence that leaving staples
in past 5/6 days actually helps at all and
they just become and infecton risk.
hope they both go home soon

seriously..
mine were in for almost 2 weeks (like, 11
days  ) and they were
starting to *turn into* my tummy (like,
they were curving inward.)
they were *ouchie* coming out.

Poor little .jersey  how
common is her condition? I know heart
murmurs can be somewhat common (I had one)
but .i've never heard of babies born with
small holes in their lungs. Poor thing!

it sounds like jersey is doing much better
so i have complete faith that she'll be
going home soon. i feel terrible that
michelle and her family are going through
this though.
whoever talks to her next, tell her we all
love her and we're thinking of her!

they are leaving the staples in because
this is not the first c-section that
michiee has had.. so they want to make
sure that she is healed so that she doesnt
go home and start being mommy again and
then tear or something else happens.. one
of us will update you all soon...
