Does Anyone Else Hate Pregnancy?!!?
Posted: 02-23-07 03:34am

SO dont get me wrong.. I am so excited to see my baby girl. She is due July 22nd and DH and I cannot wait to hold our little girl but pregnancy blows the big one!! Who in Gods name enjoys this horrible acne, cramps, achs, pains, and getting fat. Im moody and my butt feels like its larger then my stomach regardless of what I eat. AHHHHHHHH Am I the only one who feels this way? I know your only pregnant for a little bit of your life and should enjoy it but seriously im not even half way there and cant wait to get this kid outta me!! How in Gods name have you ladies done this more then once?

that is understandable. no one could enjoy acne, cramps etc... but unfortunately it is part of the process of bringing a wonderful new life into the world Smile

lol. i know it gets to feeling like that near the end. i couldn't wait for my first two to come and they were both born at 38 weeks but my third was born at 21 weeks and didn't survive so i would of done anything to keep her in even if she was two weeks overdue Sad

just try and enjoy your pregnancy and take every day as it comes. when the baby comes you will be wishing you were still pregnant. do the things now that you enjoy cause when the baby comes you will hardly get any time to yourself Confused

don't feel bad. your emotions are all over at the moment. how you are feeling is entirely normal. there is no textbook way to feel. Smile

I hated it. I liked feeling the baby move, until the end when his movements started to hurt me. But the rest of it I didn't really like at all. My mom says I was the most evil, hateful pregnant woman to have lived. Laughing You're not alone.

There were parts of my pregnancy I really didn't enjoy, but looking back on it now it seemed to go by really quickly and I even miss it! I know it feels like it's never gonna end, but believe me, your daughter will soon be here. There'll be times when you wish she was back in your tummy.. she can't scream the place down in there! Laughing

I hate it when people play the pregnancy card. just like the PMS card i just really hate it. i dont' think that it's any excuse to treat people, mostly the people that you love, like crap. I just think that it's wrong. but like they say, some just can't help it. I think that its a choice to act like that. yeah your hormones are out of wack and your a crazed pregnant person but to treat the world like crap is a choice.

I have never know anyone that hated their pregnancy. there are times that are bad during pregnancy (ie morning sickness, gaining weight stretch marks, not sleeping, ect) but the entire pregnancy can't be all that bad.

yes there is an end....but then most of your time, sleep, energy goes to the baby. your husband isn't around as much as some and he may not be as much help as you think that he is going to be because he is in the service. I hope that you are ready for that. it's a rude awakening.

I enjoyed my pregnancy until the third trimester. I was put off work due to complications, and spent .june through mid-.august in pure misery. The labor and birth were a relief to me. It was all worth it for my daughter, but I don't want to be pregnant again for at least another year.

Aside from having getsational diabetes I loved being pregnant. I've always been self conscious about my body & being pregnant made me feel 657585 times better about myself! I didn't feel like I had to hide my curves like I do now... I'd be pregnant every day of my life if I could lol.

You know what is horrible.. I really have had a great pregnancy so far..aside from nausia i've never thrown up or had to be put on bed rest or anything. I understand that some people love being pregnant and embrase their new bodies and all but I guess that is just not me. I think it might be because prior to getting pregnant i had finally gotten my body to be where i wanted it to be (for the first time in life!) also it just feels like my hubby doesnt find me as physcially attractive (which to be honest is probably way in my head) to whoever said hormones dont make you crazy?!? i cannot agree...there are times when i cry myself to sleep for no good reason, and i am not normally an emotional person. I take very quick offense to things now and get angry at small things. not that I hate the world or am a health forum to everyone but i'm just saying hormones do have a big effect. there is actually a book call pregnancy sucks which has honestly made me feel so much better. what bothers me is when people try to make me feel bad for not enjoying it. and by the way im not sure who said it but thank you for your concern i've been a military wife for awhile now and I know what is in store for me in parenthood. it is a sacrafice my family is willing to make to ensure others freedom.. Thanks for the concern and telling me i should get used to it. Wink

Whoops there are thoes pregnancy hormones again..

bleh, i know how you feel kind of, ive been having one problem after another with this pregnancy, first it was morning sickness then they thought my baby might have had downs syndrom (she doesnt), now i just keep getting sick, colds flus everything, bleh

im not really bad with the hormones, i snap a little easier then i use to, but im really quick to appologize because i feel horrible after, but i do cry more now, i cant look at a baby picture without crying

im know how you feel about the military thing too, my husband is in the navy, stationed in norfolk va, he is leaving for det on march 5th for 10 days then another in may sometime, then hes leaveing for at least 6 monthes on june 9th (they think), the problem is our daughter is due on may 22, so he'll be here for like a week or 2 after she is born thats it

i just hate to think what its gonna be like when he gets back, ive been there before, i dont want her to not know who her daddy is and to cry when he trys to hold her or anything

itll get better, and there is an end...somewhere....im sure of it, people tell me about it all the time, so it has to be there
