I have recently had a baby almost 3 weeks
ago. I had a few stitches, I was just
wondering how many people actually waited
6 weeks before having sex again. Any
comments would be greatly appreciated

Hi! I guess it isn't the same for
everyone, but I tried to have sex after
four weeks, and it hurt. We actually had
to stop. The pain wasn't at the entrance
like I thought it would be, it was deeper
inside. We waited again for two more
weeks, and by then it was fine.
I think they want you to avoid sex for so
long because they want to avoid
infections?

I had a c-section but a lot of the girls
in the pregnancy forum have said that even
8-12 weeks later that it still hurts.
some had sex 2 weeks after and was fine.
You should wait so that you can totally
heal. if you tore and have stitches you
should wait because the risk of ripping
those are pretty good. you will
mostlikely have to try different ways of
sex. some ladies say that on top is the
only way they could do it for a while
because they could control how far
penatration is and control the thrusting.
you should just be careful and express to
your other that they need to be gental and
listen to you so that if it is hurting
they can stop and try it another way.
