Is My Burn Healing Correctly?
Posted: 02-23-07 11:26am

I've got a nickel-sized mid-second degree level burn on the back of my hand. In the last week (it's been about 2 weeks since the burn), it's gone from being flat and pink, to having raised, darker pink/reddish areas, especially around the edges. It kind of looks like tiny blisters or bumps, but I can't tell if it's just scar tissue.

Is this normal? I have very sensitive skin, so I'm not sure if it's just my body reacting to the healing process. I've never had a burn this severe before...Any help greatly appreciated Very
Happy

If you're that worried about it I would go see a doc. It may be infected and you don't want it to get worse.
