Trying to Develop a Relationship!
Posted: 02-23-07 13:38pm

Hi girls,
I have been a member for a couple weeks and I am trying to get in here and perhaps get to know you regulars a little better. I read all these depressing posts and so I thought I would babble about my little ones.
I am 32, lived in California my whole life, on my second marriage. I have 2 other children that live with me from my first marriage, an almost 10 year old girl and an 8 year old boy, they are awesome! Got the old tubes tied after my boy was born, didn't anticipate a divorce, but hey, things happen, right???
Anyways, met my husband who is 2 years younger than I and we decided to do in-vitro due to my tubes being tied, he doesn't have any kids and I really wanted to give him one. Tried it back in June 06 and it didn't work, tried again in November, and guess what? It worked, I am now almost 15 weeks pregnant with twins!!!! It's been a tad rough, sickness wise, lost a bit of weight, but I think the sickness is subsiding, then I caught a nasty cold that I am still getting over.
My husband is cute, he is actually wanting to go to the appts, which my ex never did, and since we have twins, we pretty much get ultrasounds each time, which fascinates him. Anyways, all is going well so far, we just went 2 days ago, they look healthy, are moving everywhere, although I can't really feel much yet, once in a while, but that is my story!!!
I would really like to make some friends here, it is nice to have some other motherly support.
Thanks for reading!

Hi, and welcome!!

Twins!? Thats awesome!! I wanted twins, but now that i have my two little ankle biters, no thanks lol.

Anyway, let me introduce myself... My name is .Sandra, my kids are .Jacob, 19 months, and .Caitlyn, 15 weeks. My hubby .Rob is the best man alive.. Love him tuns tuns tuns. We've been together going on 4 years this .May.

I grew up in this *lovely* state we call .Florida, and i pretty much hate it here lol but i adore the beach.

Oh, and my tubes are tied as well, and i currently regret it, but also dont. (My pregnancies are pretty stressful.)

I hope you like it here, a lot of the girls here are wonderful people, great listeners, and you'll start to love 'em (and hate 'em lol) like sisters.
