Rough sex and chance of hiv?
I had sex with a good friend of mine
twice, both times I had a lot of vaginal
bleeding/broken vaginal tissue because we
had really rough sex. I have sinced
stopped because I started worrying about
hiv. He is married for 5 years now and I
know his wife and son is hiv negative.
What are my chances of getting hiv from
this guy assuming he is only sleeping with
me and his wife? I can't get tested until
after the window period but I'm really
worried right now. I learned my lession
and will never get involved with a married
man again. Thanks.

Risky sexual behavior includes unprotected
sex with additional vaginal bleeding. You
can never be sure if your sexual partner
has slept only with his wife and you. Both
you and he should be tested for HIV and
other sexually transmitted diseases. Tests
for HIV should be repeated after 3 months
when the incubation “window” period is
over.
