Losing My Voice! Posted: 02-24-07 13:28pm
okay. I'm a 17 year old musician. I sing
and play music. Recently though I lost my
voice. I got it back within a week. But
about three days ago I lost it again! I've
gone through puberty, my voice has
changed, I don't smoke. I just can't think
of a reason my voice would do this. I've
drank tea and water, and lemon and honey.
I sing in a very high pitched voice (like
rush or boston) and I just haven't been
able to get up that high. PLEASE SOMEONE
HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Have you been sick lately? This is the
most common cause of laryngitis. Or maybe
you need to rest your voice for awhile.

It sounds like you are straining your
vocal chords. I would take it down a
little in the high notes. Good luck.

Thanks everybody, I kept drinking Green

working, I'm not quite back up there but
I'm gonna give it a rest.

I sing and speak to public and loose my
voice very often too. I searched about it.
And read an article from a rock star. You
know how much they are screaming at their
concerts. He said if you are loosing your
voice you are singing incorrectly. The
article said if we use our vocals
correctly we shouldn't be loosing our
voices. I try to warm up as much as I can.
I still loose my voice. But not as often
as before.
