Anyone eles get em?
I have suffered from them on and off,for some years now.
Sometimes i dont get any at all for months then BANG their reappear?
I am currently taking propananol bedranol for them once a day, they seem to help but i still get at least two or three a day and sometimes can be really intense, and they scare the hell outta me too!
I also have had constant spinny/light headiness feeling for 7 months,im due to go see a ENT speciallist next week about this.
Anyone eles???

Have you had your thyroid checked out. Hypo and Hyperthroidism can also cause heart palpatations. And you may have an inner ear problem. Good luck.

Me Again....
Posted: 02-25-07 15:40pm

Im going out of my mind this weekend,i have felt so ill.
The constant dizziness, and palpitations are just wearing me out,im so scared its my heart packing up on me!
I have worried myself silly this past couple of days and have developed, pains here there and everywhere, stomach aches and now dioreah!
I have got a hospital app tomorrow to see someone about checking out any problems with my ears, but im convinced its not that.
I went to see my GP on friday and my blood pressure was on the lower side, hence it has always been low but it was even lower then.
He then said if there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with my ears then i will be refered to see a cardioligist.
Now i have been down that road before, being strapped up to 24hr monitors,ECGs,and everything had came back normal, and i was experiencing theses same symptoms.
I do feel like the doctors arent listening to me when i try to explain how im feeling....crap basically is the only word to describe it!
Will let you all know how i get on tomorrow.
Sorry for rambling! x

i to felt like you,it sounds like a carbon copy of myself,i too thought it was my heart so i was fitted with a 24hr monitor all came back normal i then went on to have a heart scan again normal, i too like you could not stand the dizziness any longer, and the palpertations got worse,in the end my doctor put me on fluoxetine,i wish he,d put me on it before it is great, for the first time in four years i was able to go out on my own without feeling dizzy or like im going to faint, iwas suffering from anxiety and i must say san54 is right have your thyroid checked out cause that was the start of my probs, dont worry you will be ok and good luck xxx

Please see a doctor or even go to the ER. You are making yourself sick more.

I too was suffering from strange heart palpitations and couldn't figure out why. It was brushed off by my doc for awhile because I do have a heart murmer and she figured it was related to that. They got increasingly worse so I was put on a holter monitor to monitor the heart rythm for 48 hours and the results came back fine. She suspected it was from stress (altho I wasn't stressed at the time) they came and went by the change of the day. To this day I still have no idea what was causing it and I get them very rarely now. Good luck. Maybe your doctor could put you on a holter monitor and see in fact if it something of concer.
