My Left Side - Soccer Game Posted: 02-24-07 15:05pm
hey, I'm new here, and I signed up to see
if someone can help me with my side
problem. I'm fifteen years old, and it
started after a soccer game when I kicked
the ball really badly and a sharp pain
went up my groin and also to my side.
Since then my stomach gurgles a lot more
and the pain come back after I go to the
bathroom for you know... number 2. Anyways
it's been affecting my performance on the
pitch, the more I shake around and
challenge someone for the ball the more
the pain on my left side comes. I know
it's definatley not a cramp. Can someone
help me please? I have a game today,
hopfully it won't be bad. Thank you. Oh
yea, also running is not bad, but anything
physical makes the pain come back. I tried
sit ups and it felt kinda wierd compared
to usual.
Ok there is more that might lead me to
believe that this side pain might have
nothing to do with the soccer game. The
following morning (day after the soccer
game) I woke up with a terrible pain on my
left side, my groin had already healed, so
I went to the bathroom but my left side
still hurt I went back to bed and awoke
with the pain still there. I'm pretty
sure that's as detailed as I can get it...

just came back from my game, (we lost if
anyone cares), and it was slowing me down
again, I went to the bathroom this morning
and after that is when it started hurting,
today during the game the pain came up to
my left ribs also, just beneath them, so
I'm starting to think it's just a strained
muscle and when I push in the bathroom it
agitates it what do you think?

Since the pain occurred when you kicked
the ball, I assume that it's a strain or
pulled muscle. It's not going to go away
the next day. Give yourself about a week
or two, depending on how bad it is.
The chaffing you can help by using
powders, like baby power....also there is
a (pardon me lol) women's product by
Monistat that prevents chaffing....it's
like a liquid cream powder and it works
pretty well. You could probably get your
mom or your sister to pick up a tube for
you in the feminine section if you don't
wanna go there
