I stopped taking hormonal birth control 2
months ago, and my husband and I have used
condoms and coitis interruptus as birth
control.
For the first 2 cycles off birth control,
my period came like clockwork. No worries
there. Now I'm on my 3rd monthly cycle --
and my period has not come yet. In fact,
it's now a week late.
I've taken 3 pregnancy tests since my
period was due, and they've all been
negative. However, I am still very
worried. Is there a chance my cycles are
still a little haywire after coming off
birth control? Or is there a chance I'm
pregnant, despite the negative tests?
Thanks!!!

ask for a blood test. the blood work will

if you just came off birth control 2
months ago, it's more than likely just
your body adjusting. if you're a week late
& you've taken multiple pregnancy
tests that have all come up negative..
it's probably safe to say that you aren't
pregnant. like the above poster said, if
you're really that worried, go to the
doctor & get a blood test.

Thanks for the replies. Three negative
tests is a lot of proof, I guess, but I
just needed some reassurance. Still no
sign of it coming yet (it's never been
this late before, ever) but I had some
cramping last night, so hopefully that's a
good sign.
