Lutera Vs. Mircette Which One Is Better? Posted: 02-25-07 18:23pm


I have been on Mircette for three years and I went to go refill and was given Lutera instead. (I guess due to insurance thats what I was told). I was wondering if anyone knew which one is better: Lutera or Mircette? I have been researching online but have not found information. I did find out the becuase Mircette contains desogestrel it can increase the chances of blood clots. Now what about Lutera? If anyone has info that would be great. Im just wondering which one is better thanks

I just checked on side effects of the lutera and blood clots is one of them also, most oral contraceptives can cause blood clots.

I starting taking Lutera Spetember of 2006 and I'm still taking it and I've had no problems. When I researched it I didn't find any serious problems with it. Hope u like it.
