1200 is *not* enough to be healthy while breastfeeding.
if your starve your body it will hold onto water (water retention makes you look bigger) and also fats.

good fats are *essential* for cell regrowth in the body.

also you should be more concerned with shape than weight.
muscles is heavier and denser than fat.
so a soft untoned person with the same clothing size as a toned person would weigh less than the toned person but be less healthy.

try to do 20 mins walking everyday - pop brianne in the buggy/stroller and take her with you.
make those 20 mins real walking - not just ambling along.

as well as your 20 mins 4 times a week on the gazelle.

in the UK we have a campaign for weight loss - the basis is your get a pedometer and you do at least 10,000 steps per day walking while eating a healthy balanced diet.

another thing to note is that at some point a lot of people reach a weight "plateau". and it seems as if the weight stops coming off. this is the point most people give up on their diets.
changing to an alternative diet at this point can help.

drinking than 8 glasses (each glass is 250ml) per day is recommended.
if you are exercising (to a sweat), breastfeeding you may need to as much as double that.

but be sure you are getting natural salts and mineral and electrolytes because if you don't your risk hyponatremia/water intoxication.
so you might want to consider replacing some of the extra water with a sports drink or gatorade

41 points is a lot, you should have no problem! i do a different plan where i have a different amount every day of the week, today was 24 and i can manage but i wish i got more.

good luck! feel free to pm me if you want any snack or meal ideas.

oh, and drink lots of water!

What plan do u do?

it's called "the wendie plan", it's not an official weight watchers plan but tons of people do it. it's based on a really old ww program, so i get a points range instead of just a set number. on the current plan i'd get 27 points every day, but on the wendie plan i get between 24-31 depending on the day of the week (yesterday was 24, today i get 31, tomorrow is 29, etc) and on saturdays i get 41 (and i literally eat all day). throwing that high point day in is a way of "tricking" your body and metabolism and kind of keeps things going. if you ever hit a plateau i'll tell you more about it.

oh, and definitely buy a food scale! it's pretty much necessary for weight watchers.

Weight watchers works! Everyone at work is on this diet and I have seen the results first hand! You do not have to attend meetings - just sign up on line as you have done and believe me it works and it is a healthy way to lose way.

Oh, How I feel for you! I know what it is like to be that desparate. While it is not a good idea to lose weight while you are breastfeeding, you need some immediate attention. Best wishes to you and I hope you find the answer soon. God Bless.
