Sinus Infection. Posted: 02-25-07 22:09pm
i have had this cold on and off for about
a month. i would get a sore throat then
cough and then it would go away. then it
would come back. i thought it was strange
but i figured i was just getting a new
cold over and over. then about a week ago
i started to feel off balance, not like
the room was spinning, just like slightly
off center. i went to the doctor
yesterday and was told i had a sinus
infection. he gave me a 2 week
prescription of ceftin. i was just
curious if its possible to have a sinus
infection without any pain. i always
thought that sinus infections come with
headaches and pain in the head. if anyone
can help out let me know. thanks!

It depends on which sinuses are infected.
The normal sinus infection are the frontal
sinuses which are located just behind the
cheek bones. There are may sinuses that
can get infected. I suggest taking the
ENTIRE course of antibiotics. If the pain
persits go back and see the doctor.
remember that sinuses have poor blood
circulation as they are basically empty
caverns. So it tends to take longer to
cure an infection. hope this helps
