right now I'd make a list of stuff you
need to put in.
then aim to get it ready by 30-34 weeks.
Early? yes, but better early than trying
to send hubby looking for that crucial
item you forgot.
obviously you don't want to put clothes in
too early because you want them fresh.
but get yourself an extra toothbrush and
travel size tooth paste, shower gel,
shampoo, conditioner, washcloth, lipbalm,
book etc and stick that all in early as
can be that way you don't have to worry
about these things later.
staple/tie a checksheet to the bag and
tick off things that are already in
there.
remember to include some newborn diapers.

i agree with kia, earlier the better.
in my case i was put in the hospital at 25
weeks along and having hubby get what i
needed was impossible.
so with my second pregnancy i ws ready and
prepaired at 12 weeks. really early? And
i was very glad at 37 weeks when i went
into labor and could just grab my bag.
make sure that if you are going to have a
very cute dress for your baby to leave the
hospital in, bring a comfortable onsie or
sleeper or outfit just in case your baby
doesn't handle the dress well. My little
one wasn't having it at all. and i was
glad that i had a cute little cotton
outfit that fit her because i didnt' need
a crying baby all the way home.
good luck

for some it's needed. In my case yeah it
was needed and i didn't have it done.
It depends on how you feel and what your
doctor would tell you. It eased my mind
having mine done at 12 weeks . given it
was just more like an emergancy bag than
anything. now i keep on in my car at all
times because of the fire we had.
i am a little ocd too.....i have little
bags of stuff all over the house 'just in
case.'
