Hsg Side Effects/pms Cramps Posted: 02-26-07 13:04pm
Hi All,
My husband and I have been seriously
trying to have a baby for about 8 months.
Prior to that we used no contreception so
in effect for the last 5 years we have had
a chance to get pregnant every cycle. My
gyn sent me to a RE this past month to
have fertility testing. I have lupus and
APL, and that combined with my lucky odds
that in 5 years I have never gotten
pregnant, led him to think I have a
fertility issue. During the routine
testing I had an HSG done. I had some
blood and cramps for a couple of days and
then it cleared up. I did notice after
that I felt that I could sense when things
like ovulation and CM were happening
better. I guess that is because the dye
moves stuff around. My period will begin
anytime the next few days. I almost always
get cramps the day prior to my period,
never before and rarely after day 1. I
started cramping about 6 days ago. I keep
running to the bathroom expecting to find
a mess and all I'm left with is unused
tampon. Can this be from the HSG or plain
old PMS or perhaps pregnancy? These cramps
are much stronger than my usual PMS cramps
(more like day 1) . I also have soar
boobs, but that isn't unsual for me. The
cramping is the only thing out of wack.

that could be from the HSG, it should get
better by the next following months
