Hi, I'm new!!
I just had a seizure about an hour ago.
And I see my nerologist in May.
I'm sick of waiting.
So I need some immediant help!
I have Generalized Seizures.
I'm on 200mg Keppra and 400mg Lamictal at
night and 100mg 200mg in the morning.
I was doing very well last year!! I hadn't
a siezure(other than simple partials)
for a year. But then in December - I had
1 - the day after Christmas!!
Then I had one last month and fell off of
my chair and busted my face.
Then about an hour ago - I had another.
But I'm also concerned about these simple
partials. They used to be just staring off
into space, but they are now weird, wich
include mumbling that I can't controll.
So can anyone help me out? I wanna know
more about my body and what I should do
before things get dangerous cause, imo, I
think something is serious whith me.
Also, I've been wondering, can epilepsy or
the meds I take cause memory loss or
problems?

Thanks!!

Hi Fox, this is my first post also. I too
have had an increase in seizures and have
been having ones with bizarre behavior. I
have tried to go outside in the middle of
the night at 15 degrees wearing just
pajamas, played in the toilet bowl water,
tried to get out of a moving vehicle, and
mumbled uncontrollably. I take 750mg
Keppra a day in 3 doses, 100mg. primidone
and am trying to get off of phenobarb. due
to rashes and allergic reactions.
I wish I had some words of wisdom or
advise for you as I'm puzzled by all of it
myself. I have petitmal and gran mal both.
I hope you can get some answers and good
luck. I know how frustrating it all can
be.
