I am 16 and I got a problem with my
frenulum. It is long enough to retract my
foreskin behind my glans, but it stays
there, with a lot of foreskin behind it,
this is on soft. On hard it will do the
same but I feel it very tight in the
frenulum. It has snapped twice previously
and if I try pulling it back further on
soft then it will shoot back up and pull
the head down. I might just try completely
snapping it in one go, but it is very
thick and spreads out like tree roots.
Have I got frenulum breve?
How long will it take for me to get an
operation if needed?
Thanks for your help.

The condition is treated either by a
reparative plastic surgery operation
called a frenuloplasty, or by complete
circumcision including removal of the
frenulum (frenectomy).
