Hypoglycemia Wasn't the Root of My Problems After All
Posted: 02-28-07 15:00pm

i posted a bunch of times and adapted stan's diet with some success, but as my health continued to deteriorate, i sought more medical help. turns out i have a rare thyroid disorder where mine oscillates from overactive to underactive. although this caused insulin insensitivity/resistance, that was a symptom of something larger, not the problem itself. i continue to feel better on stan's diet than i did before i was on it, but i figured stan would want to know why it wasn't fixing all my problems.

Yeah, that's why it's best to always check for any other problems because hypoglycemia may not be the main one or main be happening in conjunction with something else. Glad you found it! You can probably add grains and stuff and don't need to follow what I say so strictly.
