Update On My Son Posted: 02-28-07 22:00pm
he is doing great today so here goes the
story.......we were told to be at the
hospital at 9:15 a.m. we arrived to
register i went in with my son and my
hubby took out 2 girls out for breakfast
cause my son couldnt eat anything after
midnight the nioght before(he ate at 6:30
p.m. monday night) my son and i then went
to a waiting room with a room full of
people waiting also for surgery. my hubby
showed up with the girls at 10:30 a.m and
we were still in the waiting room by then
jared was so hungry i felt so bad for him
( i wouldnt eat either if he cant neither
can i )
finally at 11:15 we were escorted to his
room then a nurse took his vitals down met
with the anastetialogist ( you get the
meaning) a nurse went to give him a shot
that is supposed to dry up his nose throat
and mouth and she ended up ripping his leg
because she didnt do it right then had to
do it in the other leg i just wanted to
hit her... finally around 12:35p.m. they
took him to the o.r about 1:15 p.m. they
came to get me he was waking up and wanted
me he was crying but not fropm any pain he
hates anything on him ( not clothes tho
but they need to be soft and tag free
anyway back to the story ) they took off
his bracelet i.d and took off his
thermoniter off his forehead and the toe
thing that picks up heartrate and he was
fine. he wanted to go eat at applebees so
cute he ate a hotdog then went pee 3
tinmes in 15 min on the way to dairyquenn
for a bannana milkshake that we promised
him all day. and he ate it no prob. and he
is still doing great we have to wait awile
to see how much damage still remains to hi
hearing but other than that he is moving
non stop. thank you to all that said
prayers for him.

your son its so sad too see children go
through stuff like that ...makes you so

in a heart beat he has been thru so much
in the short time he has lived so far it
just isnt fair that he has to go thru any
more pain:(:::::::

must have missed your post about him.what
sis he have done? I would have ripped that

for some reason i was thinking you had all
grown children lol im weird. what did he
have done? and how old are they? sorry im
out of it! im glad hes doing good though
