Yayy .Oni!! That's awesome! When I'm feeding .Kaylee her cereal, she's constantly trying to grab the spoon out of my hand.. I just don't want her jabbing her eye out or anything lol.

Can't wait til we see more pics of her!

Are you going to give her some corn to munch on? Or do you think that might be too spicy for her? Laughing

haha I remember when I first moved to .louisiana. My godfather did a crawfish boil, and we ate outside. I was so grossed out because we didn't use plates - he just covered a picnic table with newspaper and dumped everything out on top of it! I was like Shocked tell me .i'm not eating off newspaper!

It took me something like 5 minutes to open my crawfish (everyone else was, like, 10 seconds) and then the taste grossed me out. So I decided to eat the potatoes and corn instead, but it was hella spicy! So I went inside to make me a sandwich and my fingers smelled like crawfish for a couple of days! That crawfish boil smell doesn't wash off your skin easily!

ahhh, memories! Laughing

Oh that's such a big milestone! All .adriana does is throw her dishes and silverware on the floor.
Oni is so smart! I can't wait for more pics!

What?!?!??!!? lmao!!! For some reason, we always end up eating off the obituaries!! ahahahahaha!! How twisted are we down here?!?!

I leeeerve me some crawfish!!! I cannot wait! I just had some last week! I'm tellin yall, we eat it weekly down here!!!

The spicier the better!!!
The secret to getting the spice off your hands is fresh lemon. You save a couple lemons and cut em up for everyone to rub their hands down after they eat.

If you rub your eyes with that stuff, you'll be *burnin* for days!!!

I love my heritage! ::sighs::

Wow, it sounds really fun down there. It's boring here. Our winter festivities consist of idiots jumping into the freezing cold river in the middle of .january......yeah, not my cup of tea.

I miss the south. Crawfish boils, fish fries, picnics filled with yummy foods and lord don't get me started on red eye gravy. I'm making gumbo next weekend. I don't do it very often because it's super expensive up here...

Seems like everyone's from .l.a and .f.l!!
I've never been to .louisiana, let alone have relatives there. Sad
But when our family gets together we always have a good time, no matter where we're at....so I guess I can look at it like that and be thankful.
