Molly .Elizabeth .Coleman was born on
Saturday, Feb. 24th, at 10:10 pm. She
weighed 8 lbs. 2 and a half ounces.....i
needed 3 stitches, but it wasn't too bad.
At around sevenish that morning, .i woke
up with what .i thought were labour
pains.I took a hot shower, and the pains
kept up, so at around nine we called the
hospital, and my doctor said to come on
in. At ten, we were there, and they had me
hooked up to the monitors, and when he
examined me .i was already 3.5 cm dilated.
So it started up pretty fast....then
slooooowwweeed down.Towards the beginning,
.i handled the pain alright, it was just
like really really super bad cramps. Then,
at around seven, .i was about 8 cm
dilated, and .i was begging for the epi.
Looking back, .i'm glad .i had it, and yet
.i'm not. It was good in the sense that
the pain wasn't distracting me, but i just
felt so .N.U.M.B.
I was pushing for a little over an hour,
but like .i said, it was hard to feel
because of the epi.In any case, it was a
good experience though.As soon as she came
out, the doctor put her on my chest, and
.Mike cut the cord. It was weird
though....very surreal.
She has dark hair, but .i'm assuming it
will lighten up, because both .Mike and .i
have dirty blonde hair. She has his
eyebrows and my eyes, and his nose....She
looks so much like him its not even
funny.
.I've pretty much stuck to
breastfeeding....my milk was a little slow
to come at first, but .i'm doing good with
it now, and she's latching on fairly well.
It still hurts though.
.Well, just thought .i'd drop you girls a
line and let you know whats been
happening!!!!

COngrats! I'm glad you had a good labor
experience! And yay for breastfeeding!
Eventually it'll become so super easy.
You'll whip a boob out and not think
twice. Hell, half the time when .i'm
typing on here .alyvia's sucking away!

I can't wait to see pictures! I bet she's
beautiful!
I'm sure she's beautiful, I can't wait to
see pics =)

congrats! i'm glad you had such a good
experience. i hear you about it being
surreal! all of the sudden there's the
little person that's been inside you!
congrats! i'm so glad the breast feeding
is coming along well for you! i bet she's
so beautiful, are you gonna show pictures?

Was it ever surreal.....it was like, .i
was so glad to have her out, but it was
sooo weird for her to actually be out at
the same time.
.I'm not too sure about showing
pictures....i would like to, but .i don't
have a digital camera or a scanner. My
friend took a lot of pictures of her on
her camera though, so .i might just get
her to send them to me so .i can post them
that way. But .i'm not sure.....the whole
thing of random people stealing pictures
makes me feel nervous, so .i'm kind of
reluctant to post. But take my word for
it, she's gorgeous!!!
