Cleaning Uncircumsised Penis - Help
Posted: 03-01-07 19:54pm

So, being uncircumsised, nobody has ever taught me to pull back my foreskin and clean my penis. Yeesh.

Anyway, today I went to do that, and yikes! There's a bunch of wight buildup under my penis, I think I've read about this in another thread somewhere and hopefully it's normal. Anywho, I don't know how to clean this. First off, this stuff won't come off easy. Well, it will relatively easy but it requires some pressure. This is the problem, my penis is so sensitive that I can't touch it and feel a large sensation. This is probably because I haven't pulled my foreskin back in like.. years. Anywho, any tips on how I should go about this would be great.

Btw, if you can't tell, I'm 17 years old. Thanks in advance,

Relax; the white build up is normal if you have never pulled back your foreskin. Just clean it with regular soap and water everyday. It will eventually come clean and remain clean. This is something that needs to be done daily for those men that are not circumsized.

Thanks for the reply. But I read I should not use soap. I'm assuming my penis will get less and less sensitive over time? At this point in time it is too sensitive to try and clean it, actually.

I know this will sound weird but have you tried using a soap-free soap??

Would it help cleaning it when you are erect??

Soap free soap? I didn't even know it existed, but i'll try it nevertheless. And I'm not exactly erect when I'm going to clean ..

I would suggest trying it also when you are erect this way you won't have to pull back the foreskin sooo much. It is so sensitive because you haven't had the head exposed much, this will subside with time.

I agree that you should wash you penis while you have an erection, that way the skin would be pulled back naturally. Also try your best to get non-iritating soap. As you wash your penis please be gentle but scrub firmly and thoroughly. Do this every time you shower to keep yourself clean.

I am not circumsized and best thing I can tell you is, wash it each time your in the shower. Try not to use any scented soaps as it can irritate us more (uncircumsized people) - use regular non-scented soap.

The sensitivity factor ranges for everyone that is not circumsized. It has been said everyday to pull the foreskin back and gently handle the head of the penis, more frequent, the less sensitive it will get, but Urologist have said some people can do that all they want and they will still be sensitive on the head of the penis.

I am 28 and not knowing about pullin the foreskin until about 8 years ago, I am still very sensitive.

My hubby is uncircumsised and sits in the bathtub with just warm water (no soap) and pulls back the foreskin and just "soaks". It helps with the times that there may be more buildup. If you do that, you avoid the sensitivity issue. Then just finish with a gentle scrub with a non-irritating cleanser.
