Unless you're living 100% independently (not with your parents, paying your own rent and bills, and having health insurance) you have no reason to get pregnant right now. It's not fair to your parents, yourself, your boyfriend or your child.

You have years and years ahead of you to have a baby. Don't you want your baby to have everything he/she deserves? Odds are, you couldn't give them that. Don't put your desires ahead of your child's needs. Finish growing up and establishing your education. Get some stability first.

It can happen immediately - or it can take a few months.

I'm going to ask again, Why do you want to get pregnant when you are only 17 with your entire life to be a mother?

i don't think you are going to hear what you want to hear.

i doubt very much you are in the position to have a child, no matter how much you say you are. Think about the potential child, not yourself.
