I'm going to bed, no really, yes really, I
will, I must, I am...
I've a blood test tomorrow at 9.50 and
it's a fasting test for diabetes so this
could be interesting.
Kinda good that it's tomorrow and not the
next day.
I really wouldn't be wanting a blood test
come saturday morning - I might be toxic
lmao

Good luck! Its only the nights that you
HAVE to sleep that it is impossible. Id
take a warm bath and try to relax.

Results
plasma glucose (diabetes) - not a sign at
all - woohoo
cholesterol - low side of normal - ha so
my diet isn't thaaaaat bad after all.
thyroid function - abnormal underactive -
retest in 3 months to see if it clears
itself up (not likely after all this time
- but what's 3 months when it's gone 15
years? lol).
I first questioned my thyroid function 15
years ago and was palmed off again and
again.
all my "problems" are symptoms associated
with an under active thyroid
drepession, anxiety, prolonged heavy
periods, weight gain/inability to lose
weight, fatigue, sensitivity to cold....
I'm so happy that finally someone has
tested this properly.
I mean OK it's crap that I have an under
active thyroid, but at least there's an
answer and treatment available for it.
ps I'd have moved this but there
isn't a blood test results forum and it's
a past post

i'm glad that you don't have diabetes.

at least there is treatment available!!
doctors thought for years that i had
hyperthyroidism. the results are always
inconclusive.

Its great your don't have diabetes, and if
its hypothyroidism then just wait til they
treat it. You will feel so much better.
After I got on medication for mine i was
like a whole new person. Its wonderful,
no more depression and such! yay!
