Yesterday I stood up and for no apparent
reason had this sharp pain in my foot. I
thought it would go away and walked down
to pick up my boy from school, by the time
I got home I was in agony and unable to
weight bare at all. My husband took me to
my GP who said there were no broken bones
and prescribed Diclophenic. Within an hour
of taking one the pain was so much better
and I am able to walk on it again although
there is still mild pain. The pain seemed
to run from my middle toes along the top
of my foot towards my leg. I wondered if
anyone else has experienced this or knows
what may have caused it. Thanks.

Stress Fractures Maybe?? Posted: 04-23-07 02:24am
You might ask to get a bonescan. It
sounds like it could be what I have in
both my feet. First they did X-rays and
nothing showed up, but then they did a
bonescan and found stress fractures.
When I 1st got them I started taking 800
MG of motrin (prescribed) and it made the
pain go away almost completely, I
completed Marine bootcamp, but when I
started doing crazier hiking the pain came
back. I'm no doctor, but maybe you could
get a bonescan.
