Do I Have Schizophrenia?
Posted: 03-02-07 09:33am

All day long, from the moment i wake up to the moment i go to sleep.. im thinking. I describe this to my girlfriend as "thoughts or worries" I think way to much on every situation. I analyze things before they even happen, i have conversations with people that i know in my mind, i cant stop my active mind.. i work really late at night and im usually alone so my mind wanders constantly. Im alwyas thinking of something different, and I have fears that I may be somewhat schizophrenic.

I read up on worrying and one of the exercises it asked me to do is to imagine something like a stop sign and picture that image everytime my mind wanders... that works for about 3 minutes.

I do not do drugs, I drink alcohol occasionally, and I lead a pretty normal life.

HOW DO I MAKE the voice go away?????

Is this really a voice or just you talking to yourself in your mind? It sounds like you may have obsessive worrying, if anything. Any physical problems or diseases that you know of?

I am the same way... I thought I was crazy, because I was constently thinking from the moment I woke up until the time I go to bed. Its so annoying and the harder I try to stop the worse it gets. I finally told my boyfriend of 5 years, he said I should get a journal and write, and it will prob help, so I did.....try that
