I get really bad headaches so bad that my
body now depends on the medicine so I am
going cold turkey, you maybe helping your
head but damaging your liver.... I am
totally addited to over the counter meds,
I called my dad and asked him (hes been a
health teacher for 25 years) he told me
Change my mattress, pillow, workout, eat
right, kick caffine and ween myself off
the medications, eventually it will get to
a point where my pain will be manageable

What Kinda Tablets? Posted: 03-06-07 08:16am
What kinda tablets are you taking? If it
is OTC stuff then there probably isn't a
problem, but if it is prescription pain
meds hthen there is a good chance you will
become dependant on them and you want to
seriously consider what you become
dependant on. Advil really helps with my
headaches. I have to take 3-4 at a time,
but it usually takes care of it and I
don't have any problems for days until I
have another one. I have also noticed
that a lot of times all it takes is a
large glass of water to cure a headache.
Try that first and then reach for the
Advil. If you are using prescription pain
killers then you really need to slowly
wean yourself off of those asap.
Later,
OE

I agree. They serve their purpose, but
you really need to find a specialist to
help you with migranes. I would suggest
you do a little research and see if you
can get in with one asap. I don't think
it is a good idea to be taking that much
of a migrane medication. There has to be
a better way.
