Another Rock In the Road For Me...

Well Tuesday night around 3 am I woke up
with unbelievable pain in my right side, I
instantly felt sick, spent 1/2 hour over
the toilet but didn't actually throw up.
Wed morning went to see my doc, she
doesn't think it is my appendix but rather
a ruptured cyst or kidney stones. I am on
painkiller called "ketorolac" one of its
side effects is decreased fertility, OMG I
don't need that for sure.
I have a pelvic ultrasound on Monday
morning to see whats going on in there. I
took my bottle of ovulex with me so the
doc could see what was in it, she doesn't
think it had anything to do with my pain
but told me to stop taking it until we
figure out whats going on. My DH is still
away up north and is checking up on me 3
times a day, he wanted to come home but
there is nothing he can do anyway
I am so scared at what they will find,
hoping it isn't a problem with my ovary.
Please send me some good energy because I
need it, my positive attitude is slipping
away
O

Hi,
Like luvbam said, don't automaticaly think
the worst. I have a horrible habit of
doing that myself and i am trying not to
do it anymore.
This may be a setback, but it won't be
permanant. Maybe it's just not the right
time right now. Maybe you just need to
get through what ever is going on first so
your body can handle being pregnant.
Keep us posted and keep your spirits up.
You are in my prayers.... and I am sending
all the positive energy your way.

Ladies thankyou for all of your support.
I always feel better after posting on the
forum.
I'll let you know what the doc says after
Monday ultrasound, although I will
probably have to wait a day or two to find
out the results. I will try to keep a
positive outlook and my chin up.
 thanks again

Well, I hope you get to feeling better.
Cycle before last I had multiple ovarian
cysts and yes when they rupture you get
very sick and are in a lot of pain. you
have to do something for it though. I only
took a couple of the rx pain killers and
then they told me I could take 800 mg of
ibuprofren every 6 or 8 hours. Anyways,
update us on the visit monday.

Sounds to me like Kidney stones. I just
went through that about 3 weeks ago and I
know the feeling. I was huddled in front
of the porcelain god until my husband came
home and found me in shock from the pain
on the floor and took me to the ER. Kidney
Stones are no fun. If you ruptured a cyst
the pain would be constant and from what I
read yours does not seem to be. Maybe I am
wrong. I dunno. If you do have kidney
stones be prepared for feeling like
someone is stabbing you in the side and
twisting.

well, I went for my ultasounds (plural) I
had a pelvic one and then a vaginal
one(YUK!)
The tech kept asking if I was ever
diagnosed with endometriosis, I said no
and she wouldn't elaborate on anything
else. They said it make take a few days
before I would get my results from my
doc.
I stopped taking the ketorolac on Sunday
when I woke up with broken blood vessel in
my eye, I didn't feel very well on those
meds and the pain has subsided to a level
of annoyance more than anything now. So
now I wait.........................

I'm glad the pain is better now. I'm
sorry you didn't get an answer today. I
hope your diagnosis comes up positive.

Oh man... I hope you feel better!
That stinks that your meds are hindering
fertility, also... I'm sure everything
will work out in the end.
Good luck with everything. I hope it all
works out!
*healthy energy to you*

Hi again
Well I got the test rsults back and I did
have a ruptured cyst with another one
waiting to go. I have a 6x5x5 cyst on the
right side. They are sending me to a gyno
at the end of the month to have a look.
They might want to drain it. Either way
they are going to have a good look around
and see whats happening in there. I feel
much better now just knowing what
caused me sooooooooo much pain.
I still can't take the ovulex as my doc
said it may assist in rupturing that other
cyst, they don't want that to happen
before my gyno appointment.
So thats it for now, it is just more wait
and see time for me.

I'm happy for your relief at finding out
what was causing the pain, but I'm sorry
about the cysts. Does your doctor think
that Ovulex caused them? I hope the other
one doesn't rupture before the doctors can
see it at the end of the month!

It's so hard when you don't know what is
happening to your body. This must have
brought lots of comfort your way. Hope it
all turns out ok. Hang in there girl.

Hi again,
My Doc didn't think the ovulex caused them
but... one of the ingredients is a natural
estrogen so she thinks it may have
contributed to the rupture. Anyway she
said the best thing to do was stop taking
them until everything is figured out,
after that we will discuss what to do
about my fertility, she may send me back
to the fertility clinic. I was just hoping
I could use something natural and not have
to go back on the drugs and deal with
doctors every month. But whatever it takes
to get my very own BFP I am willing to
do.
I just got a call to go back to work ahead
of schedule, I guess the tigers missed me!
so I'm not sure how much time I will have
to devote to TTC, maybe its just what I
need, a preoccupation for awhile.
