I was just wondering,I have a family
member who smokes cig's and drugs,drinks
large amounts of soda,has a cat infested
house(as high as 21 at one point) and
''claims'' her Dr.said her health is
fine(other than she thinks she has a new
disease each other week).She said someone
''gave her '' clomid,but only took it for
5 days,is it POSSIBLE to have had 12+
miscariages in 10 yrs(no home preg test
was even ever positive).I have kept track
of all the ''pregnancies'' over the
years,and they have actually totaled over
30.she only admitted to 12 when
questioned. I know the pain of all of this
and have lost 2 sons prior to birth,and
have had 3 other occasions where no baby
resulted. it is an agonizing feeling,I do
understand,but is there some way of
getting her the help she needs? My sister
said each time she has her period,that it
really isn't a period,she's just lost
another one-as per doctors diagnosis(her
words).Only other problem with this is she
tells everyone she CAN'T get
pregnant......is it me or does this sound
weird to you,I feel badly for her and
don't know what to say....any advice?( our
mom said by all accounts,her total came to
44 in 14 yrs-she was listening too)

Firstly with the way she is living her
life it is very possible that she has had
many m/c's!!
Secondly someone saying that they have had
a m/c when they havent could be one of the
worst things that you can say. There are
people out there that have actually had
m/c and know the hurt and pain that is
associated with them, to have someone just
make up that they have had one can be
heartbreaking!!
Your friend should really think about how
she is living her life and what she says
because she can get herself into alot of
trouble. If she is generally trying to get
pregnant she needs to start by quitting
drugs, cigarettes and eating a better
diet. I would like to see proof that she
is in fine health with everything you have
stated!

Auzzie,
I agree ,it is hurtful,my sister has NO
IDEA the pain she is causing to herslf and
others.when my 1st son passed (32
weeks),she didn't even say she was
sorry,etc,she slugged from her beer and
said,''what ever,IT happens'' and carried
on,it was 1 wk to the day,I felt
crushed,my brother in-law figured I should
get a cat,because it's weight and size
resembled a new born,how could he say
that?! THEY only talk about HER ''cases''
and refuse to acknowledge my son,they
won't even come to his funeral,they(13 yrs
later) don't even know what his name
is....I still have great compassion for
them,but am having a hard time
understanding their attitude,they live in
the same 1.5 hr area and have only seen my
4yr old 1x--great aunt,eh!! It's ALL about
HER,I have believed her''story ''so many
times I lost count,it hurts and I am
wondering if she is doing it for
attention,every holiday( with a joint or
cigarette in her mouth) she says she IS or
THINKS she is pregnant...it REALLY
hurts,she doesn't know how much pain she
is inflicting on me and my husband--we
lost the 1st just before our
anniversary,and the 2nd 2 months before an
anniversary,not to mention,an early
pregnancy(#3 around xmas)..One lost close
to easter,and one late fall(none of them
occurring in the same
year-89,92,94,95,01-finally son in 03)...I
have my tubes now tied....I don't know how
to handle them,I stay away from family
functions to protect myself and
husband...she believes ALL home and doctor
tests are a -+...you'd think even 1 would
come back+....am I just judging her????
