Ava's First Trip to the Er Posted: 03-04-07 21:33pm
Today Jesse and I brought Ava to take
antique pictures behind the local
hospital. It's a photographer that
travels to different cities to take these
pictures. Ava was dressed in an old green
antique dress with pearls and a big white
hat with roses. She was soooo precious!
He propped her up on a little velvet chair
and gave her a tea cup. She looked fine
on the chair. He made sure she was safely
propped up. Well when he turned around to
go to the camera, she leaned over to look
at the tea set on the floor and fell face
first onto the cement floor. I ran to her
and picked her up. she was screaming and
crying her eyes out. We took her straight
to the ER and by then she was sleeping.
She was so worn out from crying so hard.
They checked her and said she'd be fine
but just to watch her until tomorrow and
make sure she eats and plays like normal.
I was so heartbroken. I cried and cried.
Jesse had to calm me down b/c I was crying
more than her. I'm taking tomorrow off of
work b/c I can't leave her so soon. I
feel like I need to be near her. It
really shook us up.

Oh, we have been. We went to her cousin's
birthday party after and now we're home.
I can just cry thinking about her. She's
playing with Jesse now. I couldn't see
leaving her tomorrow. I just want to hold
her. Her face was puffy afterwards, but
it's back to normal. She's been playing
and laughing.
I got my sitting fee back. He wanted us
to go back to take pictures, but I didn't
want to.

Oh, yesterday we went to David's Bridal
b/c I'm serving in a wedding and there was
a boy in line in front of us that looked
just like Finn. I had to look at the mom
twice to make sure it wasn't you. lol

lol, nope, i haven't made any quick trips
down to lousiana lately.
i can't believe the photographer wanted
you to go back after her fall. that's just
silly.

He felt terrible. My friend was there
with her son and she said that he started
taking pictures after we left of some
other little girls and he had to go to the
bathroom b/c he started crying.
I just couldn't see going back there.
I'm going to buy her a little dress and a
tea set and take our own pics at home.
She was sooooo precious. Everyone was
gathered around b/c she was so cute. I
have to have some pics like that.

Dude, that's some scary sh't!! I would
have had an anurism!!
Seriously. I would have sued. Accident or
not.
He should have taken better precautions
for a small, or any baby.
I mean, imagine if she would have cracked
her cheek bone? Or something more serious
than that?!?
He should at least pay the hospital bill.

He's paying the bill. They wanted me to
go back to take pics. If he would have
told me free pics I would have gone back,
but heck no if not.
