Q: Help? Molar Pregnancy???

Crying or Very sad

I recently went through a D &C for what they thought was a molar pregnancy (no fetus on ultrasound, HCG levels good). They had difficulty finding placental tissue and after two laproscopic surgeries to check for an ectopic pregnancy and a CT the Dr wound up finding normal placental tissue on a slide.

They're now saying it wasn't molar- so if not, what was it? I honestly believed that I actually miscarried prior to my first positive test (had an abnormal period with what I'd describe as cramps almost like contractions) and had m/s all the signs prior to a negative test. My HCG levels rose normally.

During the past 8 weeks I've had only a little brownish tinge to my mucuos no bright blood.

Can anyone put a name to this? It might help me put this behind me.

I am really sorry.

I think that if you sit down with your doctor and talk to him about it maybe he could shed a little more light on what really happened. we aren't doctors and can't really tell you what is happening to you and your body right now. so it would be best to have a confrence with your doctor.

good luck to you
