I had my first ob appt today, and as per the Dr. I am 5 wks 6 days pregnant, I have been spotting since sunday, they did an ultrasound and said they didn't see the sack. They said it could just be to early or that the egg was just an empty egg that fertilized. They did some blood work and scheduled another appointment for thursday to repeat the blood work. They also started me on progestrone. I am 40 years old and some people have said that my harmone level may have been low because of my age and I may not have been developing as fast as I should and now that I have started progestrone, things might all be ok.

If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, they would greatly be appreciated.
