Hi there all. I would like to ask 2 questions... Firstly this morning when I woke up my panties were wet. For the past two months I had to wear pantyliners cause of all the discharge but this morning It was wet with pantyliner and all... It wasnt discarge but clear, can anyone tell me what this is im now 38 weeks... Secondly my back hurts very bad. Last night was the worst night ever. I couldnt sleep at all even when I lie on my side it still hurts. I had backache from around 5months but this takes the cherry on top...We watched tv in bed and I couldnt even sit in bed I had to sit on the floor!!! Any advice??

hmmm you may need to go to labor and delivery. The large amount of wetness could be your water leaking and the backache that hasnt went away with change of position could mean contractions/back labor!!

your waters can leak slowly. If your having bad back pains this very well could be it!! I would go. Do you notice a sweet like smell when you have this clear discharge??

Some women may experience their contractions more in their back and not their belly's and it sounds like your water is leaking out which happens a lot, call the emergency room.

Sounds like your getting sooooo close.

To be honest I didnt smell it!! But ive gave my doc a call and hell phone me back... It one of those where the secretary answers and then he phones back after awhile... Its difficult though cause im not allowed to drive so hubby got the car and he went to work so I also dont just want to phone him up for anything you know!
I think my backache is a nerve or something cause it stays in one place, but the fluid i dnt know!!!

Okay the doc says i must stay in bed... if there is more fluid coming out I should go to labour ward immediatly cause even if there is no contractions he need to keep an eye for infection. The back pain could be contractions but also he said that if it starts to come and go and also if I start to feel it in my abdomen I should go...
Im so excited!!!! I really hope this is it I had so many false signs its not even true!!! Ive been having contractions the whole of last week but its not getting worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine didnt get worse till the very end. My friend went into labor last week and she had no pain with her contractions!!! I dont know how it was possible but she didnt even know she was even in labor until she went to her doc the following morning and she was already 6cm. She thought she was having braxton hicks! Gotta be careful with mother nature. She tricks ya lol
