i am just like you...i used to smoke a pack a day but i have cut down to about 5 a day aswell....

i would like to know how people quit too....i quit for the first month i found out i was pregnant...but i started up again..

I use to smoke..Umm I just quit cold turkey the day I found I was pregnant Usually i would do it while I was bored.. Maybe find new hobbies? things to do with your hands..Knit, chew gum, go on walks..Something to distract yourself when you wanted one..I wont lie its been rough somedays..but i always imagine that every puff i would take us the equivalent of taking a breath of air away from your child..somehow that makes me not want to smoke.

Its so funny my sister is like that she can smoke for a year and then just one day decide to stop and thats it! She stops just like that. But me I donno whats wrong with me I know its wrong and I know its bad not just for the baby but for me aswell, I just cant seem to quit the ugly habbit. And you know its really more a habit than anything else! Every week I tell myself This is IT but sure to God I just CANT!!!!!!

I used to smoke. a very, very long time before i got pregnant. i quit & i will never smoke again. i would never smoke while pregnant. i'd feel way too guilty. my boyfriend smokes. i despise it. i won't let him near me if he smells like smoke.

Yeah I think im lucky..I dont know girl..All I can do is wish you luck! 2 more weeks right?

You know what I tried so many times before even when I wasnt pregnant and I just cant. I even throw the packet out of the window saying now you are stopping and then finding myself so irritated and moody I just go and buy another... I know this could get ugly and I dont want it to be I just want some advice. I also only got 2 weeks to go but if I stop completely now it could still be positive right? Did you just stop? Just like that?
