I found an answer to this breathing
problem! Hopefully this will help others
too. I've been living with this for 2
years, and I've been to several doctors,
and have had several tests done and
everything turned out normal. BUT, I went
to a very thorough hospital, where they
placed a pulse oximeter on my finger. Of
course, it read 100%, but then the nurse
told me to go for a walk with her. As we
walked, we went up some stairs and down
stairs and walked a little faster. My
oxygen level plummeted! My doctor ordered
a "bubble echocardiogram" which showed a
small hole in my heart, or in other words,
"patent foramen ovale". My doctor is now
considering noninvasive surgery to patch
this, which should clear up the problem.
So, if you all have not had a bubble echo,
ask your doctor to order one. And make
sure you end up coughing during it, that's
really important. The doc will most likely
tell you to cough anyway, or they should
anyway because that is how the hole is
found most times. Also, have your doc WALK
with you while you're hooked up to the
pulse oximeter. I hope this helps
people!!!
