Worked again
Posted: 06-12-08 11:57am

After 5 days my wife and I had sex again this morning. This method worked again. There's a big difference in taking all kinds of measures to hold back the dam bursting .....and letting off some pressure (and thus sensitivity) and then being able to "get after it". If the urge returns (usually much weaker) I repeat, tensing nearly my entire body and after 5-10 seconds start to relax and I feel some ejaculate leaking out. This makes the immediate sensitivity pass, the pressure reduce and still saves the "real" ejaculation for later, almost upon will. Actually, using this method leaves me a tad concerned that I'll be able to do the final ejaculation. 99% of the time it does. This is almost THE OPPOSITE of PE. Wow. From lack of control to nearly complete control. I can then give my wife the strong thrusts she really likes. I can tell, believe me. I can also tell when she's fulfilled and "done" I usually change to a position that turns me on (from behind..I could never do that before...wouldn't last 15 sec.) and "finish off" We both are greatly satisfied. I just wonder how successful this might be for others. Like I said, I'm 50 and maybe my testosterone is down and I can do what a testosterone filled younger man can't. I hope this helps married couples (I'm a Christian). I know what a difficulty PE is. My doctor gave me Zoloft once, but ugh, the side effects weren't worth it and PE was better, but not that much improved.

Let me know if anyone gets helped by this. I assume the kegels would help. I'm fairly active and think mine work as they are. Good luck all.

I'm 14 and I'm a virgin and when I masterbate after or while watching porn I only last any where from 30 sec. to 3 minutes. What should I do to last longer?

14? You either wear a police badge and have an earlier birthdate or need to go to disney.com. This is a health issue posting site for adults.

If you just feel sore, maybe not. But if anyone other kind of pain like tension or squeezing trying stopping the technique for a while to see if it goes away and if it does you should not try it again.

Well it is a muscle you are working out so I would think it is normal.

not good...

Hi guys,

after 3 weeks of practicing and relaxing my PC muscle, I'm afraid I was back in the same old trouble. Blew on entry. That said, I am so distraught about sex now I am ridiculously nervous and uptight before and during and I just can't get over it.

I have to say I DO think the relaxing your PC muscle is the main solution. The possibilities are that I need to keep going with it for longer and try to gain some mental control mentally, but in the meanwhile I am going to get my prostate checked out for a possible infection. I think that would add up since this condition occurred overnight for me. Also it (prostate is generally described as a"about the size of a walnut", but mine feels hard as a rock and tiny and tight). Not sure about that, but it is certainly quoted as a possible cause of PE, so despite never going to the doctor for anything, I'm going to eliminate that as a possibility whist pressing on with reverse kegels.

Yes, Jimmster I wish you the best of luck with your exam, let us know how things go.

Additionally, I am curious what you guys have to add about the following that I believe was being touched upon earlier, when I feel the urge to cum and I squeeze my PC really hard for like 10 seconds I stop the cum, getting retrograde ejaculation, but then I stay hard for about as long as I keep stroking...

I don't feel any tension, and I can't cum again, but this may be a possible method if I can thrust really fast to keep myself hard and prolong having sex... any thoughts?

Blast:

I have tried the same thing as you said and yes I get the same results most of the time, sometimes though it doesn't work. For it to work in sex I think you would have to stop thrusting for that ten seconds but I don't think the lady would mind. Yeah, orgasm and ejaculation are two different things. If you use this method you can find that out. if you hold for about ten seconds and then let go you will cum a little and then after that feel your orgasm. At least that's what happened for me, and it feels great.♠

At wits end
Posted: 06-19-08 17:59pm

Hi all.

I've been lurking on this forum for a bit and read some of the posts but I am at a loss!

A little info on myself:
I'm 23 and have been seeing my understanding (for now anyway) girlfriend of 29 for 3 or 4 months. Prior to this relationship I had never had sex so naturally when we first tried I was a little quick to get there, but after 4 months I am no nearer to getting any better.

My PE is quite 'serious' in that sometimes I get so worked up I blow my load before anything really happens. When I penetrate I can only last for a few seconds, as embarassing as that is to admit! Even when we try again 10/20min later its the same story..

Tonight we tried and I just couldn't hold it back, we didn't even have sex and now I'm at wits end. I worry that she'll just give up, she said tonight that whether its worth even trying sometimes and thats left me feeling worse than ever, but I can hardly blame her, I sometimes think to myself do I really want to have sex? I'll just cum early and we'll both be fustrated..

When we try to have sex sometimes I'm so hard that anything to set me off, I don't know if reverse kegals will do the trick as I am on my feet all day and can't concentreate on keeping myself relaxed. I used to be over weight and now I have continious habit of holding my stomach in which, as you might imagine, keeps my abdominal muscles/PC tight/clenched (I guess). Would trying to reverse this and relaxing my abdominal muscles help?

Any ideas? Is it worth visiting the doctor to see if he has anything to say?

Brav0:

Definately visit a doctor. He will not laugh or take it lightly and they have better advice to anything we can offer. I suggest trying NEW things, not just normal sex. Try games, try lotions and creams. Making love isn't just having sex and doing these things can take your mind off of how bad PE is and just enjoy the moment. There's no reason to not try sprays and pills because if it is as bad as most of us have it we would do anything to get rid of it. Don't let it get to you, there is more to a relationship than sex.

Hello..

So obviously im here for PE problem and im desperatly seeking advice. Here is a short bio on me:

Im 22 ive been sexually active for 5 years. Ive had only 2 previous partners and ive had this problem since the very beginning. I was addicted to Oxycontin for 4 years. At the point when i hit bottom i was using roughly 120-160mgs daily. I am currently on a Methadone Detox treatment that ends sunday after 3 months of decreasing doses. I had the problem before i started using and then when i started to use it went away. In fact being high would make it virtually impossible for me to orgasm. It was awesome, and sometimes i wonder if its worth going back to using but i really dont want to go back to that lifestyle. Its been about 8 months since my last sexual interaction and im currently seeing someone who i have been mostly honest with. She knows that i am unable to perform and is willing to wait.. but i dont want too. I want to be with her as much as she does with me. Also i spoke briefly with a doctor and she said to just wait til im off treatment and see if it will improve but im terrified it wont.

Can anyone please suggest anything i can do? ive tried flexing the muscles and all that and im kinda leaning towards some kind of medical treatment if there are any like it at all. Are there? and are they effective?

[quote="sgLoki"]Hello..

Hi Loki. You need to read back from page 31. Most people in this forum for the last month or two have been working on relaxing their PC muscles to control ejaculation.

My initial feeling is that when you were on the drug that made it hard to orgasm, you subconsciously taught your PC muscle to contract against your g-spot as you tried to reach orgasm, and now that you are not on the drug this muscle involuntarily stimulates your g-spot to make you ejaculate so quickly.

For a quick fix: (please note these do not cure PE, they just make you last each time you use them) you can try stud100, though this weakened my erection so I use a herbal desensitiser called Chinese Brush Lotion (Kwang Tze solution) because it has ginseng in which helps with erections.

If you want to work on what many feel is the cure to PE, then start from page 31, particularly the posts by John414, Tito and Depression610 something or other.

Brav0- I definately know what you mean when you say "I sometimes think to myself do I really want to have sex? I'll just cum early and we'll both be fustrated.." My PE has caused me at times to puposely avoid sex to avoid the frustration that would come with it. Anyway you mentioned that you were thinking about seeing a doctor about your issues with PE and that's good because it is a proactive step on your part. General practitioners will generally refer their PE patients to a urologist. Once you visit your urologist he or she will recommend one of three things: SSRIS (usually Paxil), Behavioral techniques such as the stop-start and squeeze technique, or a topical anesthetic agent (such as stud spray). SSRI'S are becoming more and more of the first line treatments that urologist recomend to their patients. It of course is an "off label" use but has a proven track record of being effective in delaying ejaculation. Other than SSRIS many urologists still recomend the stop and start method which was developed in the 50's or the squeeze technique which is very similar. Many people have mixed results with these methods; I have never had any success with them and neither have many other people on this thread. However these techniques emphasize that much dedication needs to be given to these techniques which I have admitidly have not given. Lastley topical anesthetic work very well for some and not so great for others, it's all about finding what works best for you.

sgLoki- You mentioned that you had PE "from the very beginning." Is this before your addiction to oxycontin? Oxcontin is an Opiod anagesic medication and Opiod withdrawal can be a cause of secondary pe which will eventually resolve once you are done withdrawling. However if you have had PE before you ever did the drugs you probably have primary PE which is PE that is lifelong and not caused by any other extraordinary factors (such as a prostatitis or opiod withdrawal). You also asked about medical treatments for PE. Besides the ones I have mentioned above the only other "medical technique" that I have come across is hyaluronic acid gel injections into the penis head. This injection was primarily used to augment the size of the head of the penis but was also found to greatly reduce the sensitivity of the penis head. This procedure is an option for men looking to reduce penile sesitivity and prolong ejaculation time. A study done on this procedure in realtion to premature ejaculation: http://www.medscape.c om/viewarticle/495107 or

I'm still looking for more answers too Confused but hope that helps Smile

Stopping ejaculation by pressing on that spot still brought this on, but not quite as much.

My penis is the same way, actually. I've always wished I could try to stop this from happening so that I could get more out of the "aftershocks" of an ejaculation.

It also liked to drip drip after I pee, too. I heard this can be a symptom of PE. I can shake it all I want, but well after (no more than 2-mins at most) it still drips a little.

To stay on topic: When I first got with my girlfriend, I used to last 20 minutes, but somewhere down the line, maybe 4 years in, that time has been degrading. I am 28 years old, fyi.

It's really been dragging on my mind that maybe I am developing PE. I barely last 2-3 minutes now.

To let you all know, it also has felt that our relationship has been growing stronger, I feel I get more affections out of my girlfriend than ever before. She expresses herself well (she is an artist, after all.) We've been together for 6 years and 5 months now, all of my doubt about her was erased a few years ago. Also, nothing has changed with my life, things are actually going better for me. So I am not sure why this is happening.

However, last year I developed an inflamation of the skin in my epidermis (around my testicals), which I thought was an STD, but turned out to be caused by a varicose vein on my scrotum (just to the left side of my testicals.)

When I went to see a urologist about it, he asked me some questions, felt my testicals up, and then sent me home. I received no kind of treatment for it, and he just told me to contact him if it ever caused any more problems, which it hasn't. I can feel around for it, and actually touch it, too.

I guess I am not sure where I am going with my ramblings, but it has me worried, and am wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation.

If nothing at all has changed as you say the only thing I know of that it could be is an enlarged prostate. Or it could just happen with no reason at all I suppose, PE is a health forum like that.

And more...

Hi everyone, and thanks for the support.

I haven't been to the doctor yet, but now that I'm resigned to going, partly excited because there may be a physiological reason for me suddenly developing PE virtually overnight, but partly also wary that they say all's well and I'm back to the position of no improvement, it feels a bit surreal. I still walk around doing my relaxation technique, and I am absolutely certain that I do have more control over my PC than I did, so either there is a prostate cause that is overriding my control, or I need to carry on and get a grip on the psychological side because my apprehension now about sex is just overwhelming. I think John 414 mentioned believing you are going to be in control is very important for him, and that sounds right to me, but it can be very hard to do, especially when you crash and burn whilst being confident!!!

I meant to ask the forum, has anyone, or does anyone know of anyone who's PE was caused by a prostate infection? I believe it is very difficult to treat, too, so to know about it may not solve anything. Has anyone suspected they had a prostate infection (thinking "great, a reason!") then been tested negative?

I'm off to the GP tomorrow, but he probably won't be up on the detail and will refer to a urologist, so probably another week before I know anything.

Take care,

Jimmster
