Basically I'm an average 17 year old guy,
totally embarrassed by talking about this
but ah well.
I have noticed that i have a small red
area around the slit of my penis and a
slight burning sensation can be felt
inside occasionally when urinating and
when the penis is squeezed.
Also i sometimes notice small
spots/plukes, the kind you would find on
your face developing in the genital area.
The only difference is that, when burst,
they leak yellowish pus. They don't appear
often and are not very noticeable when
they do but can be irritable now and
then.
I haven't consulted a doctor about this
but i have noticed these symptoms for a
while and am wondering whether I should be
worried at all.
The main point i have to make is I am a
virgin and have never had any part of any
other person touch my genital area ever.
This is the main reason I am doubtful it
is an STI but i just don't want to take
the chance.
Any advice on the matter would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Son, this is nothing to be ashamed or
embarrassed of, its human nature. Could
this be from heat or sweat? You stated you
have never engaged in sex nor been
exposed, so I do not see how it coudd
possibly be STD related. Anytime you feel
discomfort or notice something is not
quiet right, my advice is to have this
looked at. Its not like the doctors have
never seen this before. Kinda like a
cavity in a tooth, ignore it and it gets
worse until it rots out.....The burning
could also signal a kidney infection. Do
you have a health clinic in your area?
Please take care of yourself! Fairy

I am assuming you have never recieved oral
from what you have explained about no one
touching your area. Your fine nothing to
worry about then. What alot of people
don't realize though is stis can be
transmitted through oral contact to a mans
genitals. But you sound like your all in
the clear.

the only way an sti can be passed on
without sexual contact is if your mum had
it when she gave birth to you. i'm sure
this is highly highly unlikely, i'm sure
you're fine.
sounds like the spots you get might simply
be ingrown hairs. as for the irritation
around the tip, i'm not sure. if it occurs
regularly or you are concerned about it my
advice would be to see a doctor to put
your mind at rest.

Have you been masturbating at all? Because
I have and I have contracted some warts
that I found exactly resembles all of the
HPV information I have seen(I have know
clue how this could happen considering it
is a STD). Your condition sounds like
Genital Herpes. If you have never had sex
or did masturbation I highly doubt that it
is Genital Herpes. However, if you have
been masturbating then there is a possibly
it is similar to what I have( except my
warts don't leak which is a sign of HPV
and not Herpes). If anyone has
information on either my case or his case
please post another reply. Thanks

JJbrown, I think it's time you go to the
doctor. You keep posting about how you got
HPV from masturbating, but that's
impossible. You have to contract it from
someone else such as your parents or
through some sort of contact. Friction
does not create a virus. I'm not sure of
it's contagiousness through hand contact
with someone who just touched their HPV,
so maybe that's possible. However, you did
not get it from masturbating without
getting the virus from someone else.
