I just watched a programme called "child
in a million" and there was a little boy
on it who had a condition that required a
bone marrow transplant.. but it didn't
work and he was given 10-12 months to
live. I shouldn't have watched it, I'm
hormonal right now as it is. The bit that
made me burst into tears was right at the
end when they talked to the little boy and
asked him if he had any wishes.. and he
said "I wish I had a real friend.. one
that didn't call me names". I just wanted
to give him a hug. For the first time I've
watched a programme like that from a
mother's perspective and I just broke
down.

Awe that is sad. I would have cried too.
Little kids can be so mean these days.
i prob would have cried watching it as
well, i hate watching those shows with
kids with cancer and stuff for that
reason, it makes me sad, i cant even watch
the video clips online for the troops, i
added one to my myspace my sister had
posted , i cried watching it because its
almost a reality to me and what could
possibly happen.
i cant beleive kids are still cruel, i
didnt think people were still like that
now. it wasnt so bad when i was growing up
so i didnt think people still bullied and
picked on little kids. cant wait till the
day they find a cure for cancer or
something that can maybe prevent it or
detect it sooner to help those that do get
it.
